Michelle Guintu is a local Mother and the artist behind our new logo. As fans of her work, we were thrilled to realize she was also a fan and regular at our shop since becoming a new mother last year. Her style was a perfect fit for the spirit and vibe of our brand.
Mostly drawing and painting, Michelle's work is inspired by 80's & 90's nostalgia, amateur fan art, outsider art and cartoons. She's also created works in paper mache and is interested in experimenting with punch needling!
Much of Michelle's early work was based in San Francisco, and she's had the opportunity to have two solo shows at New Image Art in Los Angeles. Her favorite show was a two-person show that she produced with Joe Roberts.
