Parachute Brooklyn was founded in 2019, driven by a shared passion for fashion and sustainability. Co-founders Carly Boonparn and Ambra Markos met when their three-year-old daughters became friends at school, sparking a connection over their mutual interests. Boonparn brings 15 years of experience as a manager at Beacon’s Closet, a well-known local buy-sell-trade clothing chain. Markos, a Fashion Design graduate from FIT, has worked as a production manager for brands like Rag & Bone and Madewell.
